I used Jamie Oliver's Basic Bread Recipe and loved the therapeutic qualities of kneading the dough - or as Jamie puts it bashing it and knocking the air out of it. I always thought you needed alot of spare time to bake bread but it was surprisingly simple and may become a weekly thing.

That looks delicious and I bet it smelled wonderful while it was cooking.

ReplyDeleteWe've just sold our breadmaker on TM, it made the bread too dense. Handmade is better!!
