Mucking around...

I should be organising the spare room but, instead, Elijah and I started on some crafty bits & pieces.
Small gift bag made from a couple of pages of The Adventures of Scamp
Two pencil holders made from soup cans
Card made from a page of The Ginghams: The Backward Picnic
Who wouldn't want a story on their gift bag?

  2. thanks Megan - don't look too close! I actually used a fruit bar packet as a template so it's quite a small bag. Could save alot of money on wrapping paper though - making bags versus buying them

  3. Here I was thinking I needed to buy a pencil holder. Yours look pretty neat! Just clean out a can and stick nice paper?

  4. Hey Meeks - yeah just as you say - the pull top cans are better, not as sharp but don't go rubbing your finger along to make sure - I found out the hard way! They look nicer than the holder I have now and the upside is if they don't last long it doesn't matter - they're literally free if you have the paper sitting around anyway!
    Thanks for commenting :D

  5. Hi Kelly!

I just found your blog (had never noticed it on your CM signature before!). So glad I found it - it is lovely!! You do some great crafty/sewing work. I'm going to try and be inspired to get into more of that stuff...this is a good place to start, I think :)

  6. Hey Renee! Thank you :) I know - I only just put it in the sig today so that'll be why you haven't seen it before. It was Becky that got me into blogging - I didn't do so much last year but thought I would blog a bit more regularly this year (well, try at least)
